All I Do Is Think Of You by The Jackson 5
May 25, 2011 Record Label
All I Do Is Think Of You was a ballad single released by The Jackson 5 as the b-side to the group’s single, “Forever Came Today” on the Motown label in 1975, and was the final charted single the group issued as The Jackson 5 before they left Motown for CBS the following year. It was featured on their final Motown album, Moving Violation. The song was written by Eddie Holland (formerly of the popular songwriting team of Holland-Dozier-Holland) and Michael Lovesmith. The song, in which some of the lyrics were fit to match lead singer Michael’s age at the time of its recording – he was sixteen at the time, talked of a young man’s love over a young lady he met at school and how he is thinking of her. Issued as a b-side to the disco version of The Supremes’ “Forever Came Today” on the pop charts, airplay was massive on the urban side that the song was charted also eventually peaking at number fifty on the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart. A few months after this release, the Jackson brothers abruptly left Motown – and the song’s co-lead singer Jermaine – and signed with CBS’ Philadelphia International record label. Over the years, the song gained cult status as a ballad favorite for Jackson 5 fans. The song suddenly was revived fifteen years later when the group, Troop, released a cover version as the second single off their Attitude album in 1990. Their version, which included some lyrical changes, was sent to number one on the Billboard Hot R&B singles chart and number …
Do you think its fair for Lupe Fiasco to be “milked” by his label?
Apr 22, 2010 Atlantic Records
I read a while back that Lupe Fiasco was going to make “Lasers” and another album before LupE.N.D. It said that his label would not let him drop LupE.N.D. without these 2 albums. For me I think it is unfair, because Atlantic Records (his label) is basically using him to make profits.
What do you think of this song and its lyrics?
Apr 6, 2010 Atlantic Records
I can’t help relating this song to our world’s current affairs. All the double standards, the injustice and the corruption underlying the very fiber of our pretentious and shallow societies. BTW this song was written and performed by none other than the music genius of Graham Nash better remembered as one of the never-to-be-forgotten trio Crosby, Stills and Nash. It was on his album titled Wild Tales which was released by Atlantic records on January 1st,1973 (making it 36 years old today):

what do you think is going to be the next universal media format?
May 12, 2009 Universal Records
from 8 track to cassette to cd to mp3
from vhs to dvd to hddvd to blueray
from mpeg to avi to mp4 and psp
where is this leading? when will we have a universal format?
one format that all devices can use.
i have a feeling that it won’t be a disk or anything with moving parts. i kinda think that movies will be sold on little flash drives in a format that all computers, tvs, media players will recognise.
I think that all digital media will someday be purely digital. ie, code. your video camera records onto an internal harddrive. when you get home, wirelessly upload to your home/server for archive and wirelessly to your TV to play.
I think the need to go to a store to buy this code burned on a disk will be obsolete, when you can just download the code from the net instead. iTunes already does this.
So again, what do you think the next universal format is going to me? I think first we need to decide on a universal code, then the media it’s written to can be anything.
What do you think about “trusting” the government with our Medical Records?
Mar 26, 2009 Universal Records
Pres Hussein and his Democrats put a little “Universal Health Care Plan” to ride “piggy-back” on their current “Bailout #2″ bill. The bill calls for encrypting a persons medical records and for these records to be accessible to some type of “Health Czar” who will be working for the Health and Human Services department.
So would you trust our government with your health records or do you consider the measure an over-reaching invasion of your privacy?
