With what we’re facing now and an inevitable government “bailout” plan for Wall Street, our country’s deficit will be even higher than where it is right now, which is at a record high. The taxpayers are the ones that will have to pay for it.

Why can’t we have a universal healthcare system that would reward doctors who actually have a good track?

record of creating better lives for their patients by getting them to live healthier, treat them better, etc. with pay raises like they do in other countries. That would be a form of competition which would be an incentive for constant improvement. What we have now is just the opposite.
