Music Video by Simple Plan performing ‘Take My Hand’ from their album, Simple Plan. Copyright © 2008 Atlantic Records & Warner Music Group. All Rights Reserved. Simple Plan (Album) The CD was originally set for release on January 29, 2008. However, on November 29, 2007, the band announced a two weeks’ delay due to production difficulties, and the need to re-record some lyrics from the song “Generation”. The released version of “Generation” would be considerably different from that distributed on the review copies of the CD, with the latter beginning “This world’s so sad and lonely/Won’t you come and spend some time with me?” An album cover was released in early December 2007. Soon afterwards, in his MySpace blog, band frontman Pierre Bouvier responded to fan concerns about the cover, defending the artwork. However, on December 12, the band released a second proposed album cover, and invited fan views by email about each, indicating (despite Bouvier’s earlier comments) that they were fine with either cover. On December 14, 2007, the alternative cover depicted above was announced as selected over the original one depicted below. In April 2008, the rejected CD was released as a limited-edition CD cover in Australia. This album marks a shift from simple plan’s trademark pop punk sound. The album debuted at #14 on the US Billboard 200. The album would also be nominated for the 2008 Juno Awards in the “Best Album” category, but lost to Nickelback’s Dark Horse. The album took …

Bad Religion – Cease Atlantic Records Picture from: www.flickr.com ——————————– This is probably my favourite Bad Religion song, but I couldn’t find and good YouTube videos of the album version. The acoustic versions are pretty good, but this one’s way better if you ask me. So I made this video and threw in the lyrics because I’m just so nice. In retrospect, the background picture I used doesn’t make the text highly readable (especially with Youtube quality video), but it’s a cool picture so hopefully it doesn’t get in the way too much. I also think the text cuts away a bit too fast in a few spots, but there isn’t a lot I can do about that without having it out of sync with the music. I’ll put the lyrics here in the description, too. Enjoy. ——————————– Blacktop pavement cover me. Like a chemical reaction or a steamroller. Spreading randomly. There’s a distant buzz and low frequency. It tickles my ear and rumbles under my feet and it shakes the leaves off of every tree. Violently. What pretension! Everlasting peace. Everything must cease. Institution on the hill. Like a beacon in the mind of an ancestor to ignite a people’s will. There’s a shadowed stain on the west facade. It has spread like decay to enshroud the fraud. And the descendants find it oh so odd. Oh, so odd! What pretension! Everlasting peace. Everything must cease. Grave memorial, hewn white stone. Like a comforting caress of a mother or a friend you’ve always known …

Song: Blame It on the Boogie. Sung & Performed by: The Jacksons. Song written by: Mick Jackson. Album: “Destiny” The Jacksons, December 17, 1978. Song Record Labels: CBS Records & Epic Records. Niceties by: www.youtube.com Synopsis! Blame It on the Boogie was first recorded and written by Mick Jackson who released it in 1978. Many artists have used it as covers among them The Jackson Five. When they released it, the one reached the peak positions at #3 on US RnB Singles Chart and #4 on UK Singles Chart. The Jacksons became the first act in recording history to have the first four major label singles, we are talking about the songs I Want You Back, I’ll Be There, The Love You Save and ABC. Michael Jackson was one of the first artist in testing with different genres and a wide rank of themes. Mick Jackson’s recording was produced by Sylvester Levay with the single released on the Atlantic Records label on both 7″ and 12″ vinyl and peaked at number 15 in the UK Singles Chart on 21 October 1978, and number 54 in the United States. The Jacksons’ best known rendition of the song (released on their 1978 album Destiny) reached number three on the US R&B chart.[when?] This song was also covered by 1980s boyband Big Fun and by Mexican singer Luis Miguel in a Spanish-language version titled Será Que No Me Amas. …..Lyrics….. My baby’s always dancin’ I would’nt be a bad thing But I don’t get no loving An’ that’s no lie We spent the night in ‘frisco At every kind of disco From the …
