Does it surprise anyone that Jermaine Dupri’s Dad was a record executive for Columbia Records?

His Dad helped him get “dancing” gigs with Whodini and other groups and then used those connections to build up a reputation dancing and then started to build up his “So So Def” label….he is said to be a “firecracker” on the drums

I thought he came from “across” the rainbow…isn’t that where Leprechauns come from?
What Janet Jackson sees in that miniature man I fail to see. He’s a loser and a drunk. He vomited on her at his last birthday part she gave for him…after MJ died she went back to him.

A tad bit, though, it wouldn’t surprise me if it was someone like Diddy.
And who called him a “firecracker” on the drums?

Latj’s and Sophie’s answering styles are really similar.. with the use of “quotes” and “stuff”, and the “love and happiness” tagline. Weird. Even weirder cause I noticed that. I need a vacation…

No it does not really surprise me that Jermaine Dupri’s dad was a record executive for Columbia Records. Pretty much if it was not for Jermaine Dupri’s dad being a record executive for Columbia Records, there would be no So So Def Recordings, and Jermaine Dupri would not be where he is today.
