Can we forget about McCain’s tax cuts and Obama’s universal healthcare plan?

With what we’re facing now and an inevitable government “bailout” plan for Wall Street, our country’s deficit will be even higher than where it is right now, which is at a record high. The taxpayers are the ones that will have to pay for it.

Oh…. so you saw thru the bull sh*t.

So the question now is, do we make the folks that created this mess clean it up, OR do we take the country in a new direction?

My biggest issue with the bailout, is that the government is doing nothing to change the de-regulations that got us to this point in the first place. These De-Regulations have been solidly supported by John McCain and that is a major reason why I do not want to see him as a president.

In all actuality McCain tax cut plan can easily be suspended without affecting the market too much … on the other end however the billions needed to create a universal health care is now out of the question … unless Obama raises the hell out of our taxes … which by the way will already be used to bail out the financial market. So what do we have left to pay really? we might as well all work for free for the next 20 years and give our full pay checks out.

I feel sorry for whomever gets into office–yes, many of those ideas are scrapped but work can begin on them–such as expanding healthcare for children by raising the threshold somewhat. Under the Republicans it’s been going down to “save money.” When children end up in ERs around the country with severe problems, we ALL pay for it.
