Advantage- handwriting legibilty isn’t an issue
    easy to search past records
    not wasting paper
Disadvantage- If everyone’s medical records are on a computer a hacker could do some serious damage. Also think of all the time it would take for old medical records to be transcribed!

What do I like about EMR?
Everything you could possibly need to know about your patient is right at your fingertips. In particular, going through old test results is much more efficient than going through paper and film. If you are at a large hospital, this will also include notes from other doctors which can be very useful when trying to assess a patient with multiple problems.

    What is bad about EMR?
Easy to get cluttered with useless information. If it is not implemented well, it can be a nightmare to navigate. Another potential problem is the privacy issue. You may not want your doctor to see the notes from another doctor….
