Do we Have another Democrat embellishing his Military record, and where is Atlantic City Mayor Levy?

Robert Levy has come up missing, and no one knows where he is. The mystery and gathering scandal over Levy’s military record (claiming to be a Green Beret to collect more Veterans’ benefits) have worried civic leaders in this seaside casino resort, with a long history of corruption, with four of the last 8 mayors busted on graft charges, and one-third of last year’s nine-membe city council in prison or under house arrest.
What the heck is going on there, and where did the mayor disappear to?
Now to set the record straight; this fellow Levy was a Vietnam Veteran, but he lied about being a Green Beret to increase his Veteran benefits.

Just because he is a Democrat does not mean that his disappearance has anything to do with him being a Democrat or that Democrats are bad people. Just another corrupt politician. They come from both sides. No one knows where he went but hopefully they will find him.

At least he has a military record TO embellish, unlike many of the chickenhawks of the right.

New Jersey is the most politically corrupt state in the nation, yet being nearly 100% democrat it should be a paradise on earth! After all, the best, smartest, most caring, most sensitive human beings on earth run the state…the American left!
Obviously Levy’s problems are just a “phoney” creation of the vast right wing conspiracy. Media Matters will undoubtedly be carrying the story soon.

I’m not sure if Levy deserves the credit for it or not, but Atlantic City is looking cleaner than I’ve seen it in awhile. Beaches are improved and there are outlet stores where prostitutes once hung out. And I didn’t see any homeless folks on the boardwalk.

could it be, that in this country, with the current state of morals, if enough money is waved under people’s noses, too many of ‘em will take the money, and hope they don’t get caught.

Wow! Do you mean to tell me that you have found an actual Democrat who is ashamed of what he has done? Most of the Bas***** just go on like nothing ever happened. Like Rape, Fraud in White Water development, Sweet deals in Las Vegas land (Reid), Political Dirty tricks against Lt.Gov. Steele (Schumer), and the list goes on and on and on.
Just a few years ago, the US Navy’s Chief of Naval Operations got caught wearing some medals which he had not earned. He committed suicide. Not likely that any Democrats are THAT ashamed of what they did.

Here in cyber space I guess that you all feel it is a victimless
crime and no one gets hurt, and that’s fine by me. Posers usually fall apart when questioned by real vets. But when you are in the public trust and claim to be a veteran with High Distinction, i.e. Navy Seal, Marine Recon, Green Berets, Army Rangers, Air Force Commandos; you are looked to for your leadership. When you are found to be a fake you not only take yourself down, you drag us warriors into the not so bright light with your sorry self! We real Veterans do not deserve this!
Now on to the other point I need to address: This is not a Republican problem. This is not a Democrat problem. This is a problem that encompasses all Americans. You need to drop the party lines for this problem. On the battlefield there are no Cons or Dems……we are all BROTHERS! We risk life and limb for the lucky few who sleep soundly under Freedoms Blanket.
